This Cookie Policy explains how DND Name Generator uses cookies and similar browser storage when you visit https://dndnamegenerator.cc.

This page describes the storage used by the current live application. It does not describe advertising cookies or analytics cookies because those services are not currently loaded on the site.

Read this policy together with our Privacy Policy, which explains the broader handling of contact messages and other information.

A cookie is a small text value stored by your browser and attached to future requests to the same site. Modern web apps also use browser storage APIs such as localStorage and sessionStorage to save information directly on your device.

On this site, those tools are used for three narrow purposes:

• Remembering your consent choice.
• Keeping requested generator data such as saved favorites and session history.
• Optionally remembering your theme preference.

The current application uses two categories of storage: essential storage that the tool relies on to function, and optional preference storage for theme selection.

When you first visit the site, you are shown a consent banner with a truthful choice between essential-only storage and optional preference storage.

• Allow Preferences enables theme storage.
• Essential Only keeps consent handling and requested tool storage only.
• Manage Settings lets you review the current categories before saving.

Your consent choice is stored for 365 days unless you clear it sooner.

The site does not currently present analytics or advertising toggles because those categories are not active.

1. Click the Cookie Settings button in the footer or on this page.
2. Enable or disable theme preference storage.
3. Save the updated choice.

Disabling preference storage removes the saved theme value and returns the site to your system theme.

Clearing browser storage removes saved favorites, resets your theme choice, and clears the current-session history stored on your device.

The application itself does not currently load third-party advertising or analytics scripts. If you open an external link from the site, that destination may use its own cookies or storage under its own policies.

If a direct contact form delivery provider is configured in a future deployment, we will update this policy before treating that provider as part of the live site behavior.

The site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not intentionally use cookies or browser storage to profile children.

The storage described on this page is limited to site operation, requested tool features, and optional theme preferences.

We may revise this Cookie Policy if the application's storage behavior changes.

If we introduce analytics, advertising, or other third-party tracking tools later, we will update this page and the consent experience before those tools go live.
